Canteen
Currently, the Barrack Heights Public School canteen is not leased, so it doesn't operate as a regular school canteen. However, our school community continues to ensure that students have access to food-related activities through special events. We often host 'free tasting' days where students can sample a wide variety of healthy foods, promoting good nutrition and encouraging them to try new things. Additionally, or Student Representative Council (SRC) organises fundraising meal deal days, where students can enjoy 'sometimes' foods as a special treat, helping to raise funds for school initiatives.
Breakfast Program
Our school provides a free basic breakfast for all students from 8.40am to 8.55am.
- The breakfast consists of toast, fruit and, in the cooler months, Milo.
- This breakfast is aimed at students who may not have had breakfast. All students are however, welcome to participate.
